Coming soon is a Nickelodeon NFT release that honours some of the most well-known 90s personalities. A generation was shaped by television programmes like Hey Arnold! and Rugrats. They will also be accessible in an entirely new way as Mashup characters thanks to Web3 technology, Paramount, and the cutting-edge technology firm RECUR.
Steve Akoi, a Grammy Award-nominated DJ and supporter of NFT, is also creating a brand-new remix track and music video for the occasion. The original Hey Arnold! and Rugrats theme songs served as sources of inspiration for the well-known artist.
Nickelodeon NFT collection celebrates iconic shows
Whitelist customers can access the official RECUR Nickelodeon NFT drop starting on July 18 via Nickelodeon.xyz. On July 19, the general public will also be able to purchase these incredible NFTs.
There are 10,000 NFT packs in total, each costing $50. Additionally, each pack includes a 1/1 PFP NFT with a special rendition of a few Hey Arnold! and Rugrats characters. Tommy Pickles, Arnold Shortman, Helga G, and Chuckie Finster are a few of the characters. There are 12 characters from the illustrious TV shows that you can collect.
Fans can exchange their original Nickelodeon NFTs for Slime starting on July 26. Importantly, starting on July 29, this will offer the chance to purchase Mashup characters. We’ll soon have more details about the slime swaps.
Steve Aoki provides a spin on the Nickelodeon collection
A leader in the DJ world and a well-known figure in the NFT community is Steve Aoki. In order to introduce these new Mashup NFT characters, RECUR and Paramount have teamed up with the renowned DJ.
The remix was made by Aoki to showcase the modern mashup aesthetic. The music video will serve as the characters’ introduction. The neon, technicolour aesthetic of the video reflects its 90s nostalgia.
Steve expressed his gratitude for working with RECUR and Paramount to bring these shows to life in the NFT space when discussing the Nickelodeon collection. I eagerly anticipate the roadmap’s realisation.
New characters called Nickelodeon Mashups combine characteristics and names of the original characters in the collection. For instance, “Tolga” is a mashup of Helga Pataki and Tommy Pickles.
Last but not least, this is a bold move by Paramount and RECUR. Hey Arnold and Rugrats continue to be hugely popular. They will now have the chance to relive their lives and influence a new generation in NFT form. The Steve Aoki music video is available right now!
